I am excited to say that I have been approved as a reviewer for both NetGalley and Parliament Press books.
While NetGalley will give me a wide range of books to review, my heart lies with small press publishers like Parliament and I hope to use my platform to bring readership to excellent books from Indie/Small Press works that may need the boost in buzz.
In my experience, book buzz is not always directly tied with the quality of the book so much as the amount of marketing/PR that is put behind them so that will never sway my reviews. Instead, I find myself more swayed by the amount of imagination, the depth of the prose, and the passion that the author brings to the novel.
That being said, here are a select few of the releases I am looking forward to as we approach the end of the year.
